Hello my dear writing place =)

It's been quite awhile that i left u stranded here alone, haha.. I'm still up during the wee hours. (dont scold me if u happened to read this, hahaha =P) Don't feel like sleeping yet though. It's chinese new year again. I've lots to say but everything is jumbled up in my mind. Please pardon the random-ness in this post, haha =)

Last year was quite a shitty year. A handful of shitty people came into my life but i think i should thank them. Each of them taught me a valuable lesson. Now i know what i want and am not that naive and silly anymore. Thanks lots assholes =)

Though it was a shitty year, it ended quite well =) I'm so glad to have someone that is so special in my life now. Fate has finally work its magic. It was definitely worth the wait for such a wonderful person like you =) I always wonder, how can we be so similar in so many ways, am i really so lucky to have u? Well, i hope i really do now. You make me smile every day. I'm determined not to repeat any past mistakes. I am enchanted to meet u, always =)
Ivy, i'm grateful that u have that birthday party =)

Still in the process of pursueing my degree. Can't wait for the day i get it! 3 more years to go. Hope my study mode will be back in me when my 4 months break ends. I want to score well in all the modules!

Cant wait to go to Taylor Swift's concert too!! Counting down to 9 feb (wed)!! But, at the same time i don't wish for monday to come that soon, i don't wanna go back to work, hurrrrr =/

I still remember i once received an email about different types of friendships. I guess people do change. For a period of time, your friendship can be so well built till its like BFF. But when one interests changed, your friendship starts to drift apart. You no longer call that name that often, no longer do things together as much as before. I guess its normal? You are a season-friend. Its oki.

This chinese new year gathering was a good one. Had a great time together with all my dearest cousins. Even though we have not talked much for the past few years, i can feel that the family bond still remains, with the help of mahjong. Jojo is still so cute, feels like he didn't grow up, and he played some piano songs for me, such a sweetie pie.

I wish this year will be a better year for all of us.

NDP Preview was Great!! =D

Went for today's NDP preview with Mel, and her bestie and future-husband! Actually today was going to accompany Mel to go find her bf who will be marching in NDP parade, sort of surprise him. In the end, her bestie called and told her she got 2 extra tickets and asked if she wanna go. I soo wanna go for NDP preview but couldn't get tickets. It was just sooo lucky!! =D Truely believe in everything happens for a reason. Before that, i was reluctant to go out but Mel 'forced' me to meet her. Haha!! No la, actually i'd promised to accompany her a week ago. Just feel like rotting at home on a non-working saturday. But well, i'm glad i let her decide in the end. =D

I love watching the parade! Love the various G.O.H. contingents. I know that every year i say the same thing, haha!! It never fails to remind me of those old nostagic st john days... when we trained so hard for annual speech day, surviving the scorching sun, the same old marching tune, the commands, everything! awww... Every year i will say i wish to join in the march, as GOH contingent. I'm sure it will be an unforgettable experience and you will feel so proud and honoured =)

I like the aerial display and army mobile-truck display too! So cool! Seriously, the speed technology is advancing is uber fast! Imagine a mobile operation theatre? Mobile washing machines? Hahah!! Super cool! This year all the performing songs are so hip and modern too! And of course, my all-time favourite, Fireworks display was great! But i didn't really get to see much because my view was blocked! So sad! I think Mel wasn't really into watching NDP though. Almost the whole time i was excited, asking her to look at this, look at that, especially the fireworks. But she was sitting there, looking bored most of the time. Hahaha, I think i'm really abit boyish. But its oki, at least, next time i have stuff to talk about with my future bf/husband when we go watch NDP previews ;)

What will you do, or rather, do you mind if your bf/future husband doesn't greet your friends when all of you go out together? Well, i totally mind it! Its so rude! I'm referring to Mel's bestie's husband-to-be. He is one rude/no-manners fellow. Doesn't even say hi or introduce himself to me when we meet. But thats not the worst, he doesn't even say hi to Mel, who is his wife's bestie. This type of guy sucks lor. I hope i won't date, even marry such a guy. -_-""

i am certained i've already let go, but looking at the artillary mobile display just now inevitably reminded me of you. i know the sadness that filled me in those few minutes will be temporary. well, memories cant be erased right.. hope that next will be better and will last too =)

Feeling high above the clouds!

Guess what? I've got accepted! And... they gave me 5 exemptions! Yay! ~ =D So happy! I hope that my determination to study hard and really score well stays with me throughout =) Gonna go shop for stationary after i have received my offer letter package. Can't wait to go back to school man! Miss studying and being a student. Gonna need some constant motivation and words of encouragement too =)

Haha.. you know what, i have a feeling that the little devil in me is gonna act up tomorrow, haha. I wanna see how you react when i tell you i've got 1 more exemption than you. I am positive that this piece of news is gonna kill you, whether you show it out or not. If you weren't that competitive, this won't affect you at all. Ever since that incident, i really became aware of your words and action. Though on the surface we seems the same as before, but inside it will never be the same. Someone taught me this, 'forgive but not forget', i've already added you in that category. Too bad, sorry, you crossed the line.

Feeling mixed-up now.. I have things to say but don't know where to start.

Oki, lets start with farewells. Gonna have a surprise farewell party today @ deep's house! I am hoping that his jaws will drop to the ground when he open his main door later and see whats instored for him..hahaha!!! Hope its gonna be fun fun fun! Gonna miss him and Eric.. I guess Eric reali dislike those certain seniors to the core. His last words to us was "don't be like them". Yes, i'll remember that, Eric. I won't be like them.

Sometimes i really wonder to myself, am i still as childish, naive, as ever? I don't know why i still feel so excited whenever i see fireworks. Not as if i am seeing it for the first time. I'm not trying to act cute or what. I guess its just me? I don't wanna give others the 'bimbo' impression also =| sigh.. i don't know la.. zzz..

Hello!

Its been another 'awhile' since i last written something here.

Recently, many things happened, good and bad, and people said i've changed quite abit. Glad those comments are positive ones =)

Clouds above my head has cleared. This time i've really set my mind. Its gonna be a year. Enough time for it already. I have new aims in life, new goals, more decisions to make along the way.

Though i've changed, working society has made me learned how to be fake, say things that people wanna hear and not what i actually meant, wary of fake people, forgive but not forget (towards certain people only)

Past few weeks has been an another eye-opener for me. I saw the other side of so-called friends, how fast things changed, how close-minded, how competitive, how selfish, how weird and ridiculous etc. that person can be. Though everything is fine now, i'm wary of u already, not gonna be the same as before.

I gonna miss u both, Deep and Eric. U both has been great colleagues and friends.

Gonna miss "Heyy special stains gal!" & "Myy frienddd... how are u?" sigh.. =/

Currently has been very engrossed in reading Twilight novels. Love the way their romance progress! So sweet, so addictive, so vampire-ish.. hahahaha!!!

Yesterday's dinner was great! Had our usual once-in-awhile mini lab dinner outing.. We went Chomp Chomp for dinner.. Ordered many food and shared.. After that, we headed to Dessert Bowl for the obvious, DESSERTS~ haha! The durian mousse was fab man! And we bullied poor agnes who hates and don't eat durians.. You are missing out good stuff man! lol!

~ Simply Loves Having Long Weekend ~

Short getaway from work and people who make you pek chek.. Its regarding my supervisor again =.= I think sometimes people might get abit cranky after awhile.. Yesterday was a new month and duties were rotated.. I've done my current duties before but still isn't very good in some, so mistakes occurred. I made the same mistakes 3 times. Things takes time to be ready, by the time she inform me of my first mistake, i have already done the 2nd and 3rd mistakes. When she came to me the 3rd time, i felt guilty already and wanted to redo my work. But guess what she said? Seriously damn ass. She said something like " Don't want, submit to doc and let them complain about u. " WTH?! Are u menopausing for the 2nd time?! Bloody idiot lor.. I was so damn pissed. How can you be so evil? Before this, she still 'threaten' me that if i still commit the same mistake, she is gonna tell my lab manager.

Seriously, if u want, go tell lor.. i don't care.. All i care about is i will try my best not to make the same mistakes again. And i will still respect you because you are still my senior/mentor. I think after joining the working society for 9 mths, i learned how to take things easily and adopted selective hearing. And also, recently i have been working quite closely with a gossipy senior. May be i should not feel surprised that she gossips/talk behind back of everyone in the lab, even her so-called close colleague, who is my supervisor. Ha, plastic humans every where huh.. But i must say, my supervisor is actually quite nice, just that sometimes old ppl really abit cranky and weird.. aiya, dunno la..

Anyway its holiday, work and irritating people should be out of my mind..

Hello =]
Hasn't been updating for awhile.. Many minor things happened over the past few months and has added ups and downs in my life.. Currently, i just hope that i can manage to pick up playing a piano soon. I just need to know the basics and able to read scores to play a song and i'll be more than glad already. It always has been my dream to be able to play a piano some day =)

Next BBFL gathering is coming up! Looking forward to it! =D
I'm glad i have replaced the empty spot in my wallet with my dearest 5.. Looking at it makes me feel happy and blessed =)

Oh ya, something disgusting happened to my friend and I at work 1 day. We had our lunch in the pantry and went to use the computers as it was still early. Then 1 senior colleague (don't wanna mention name) came into the room to put her stuffs. On the way out she farted hell loud la! OMG =_=""" Damn disgusting yet hilarious at the same time can! She could have said "sorry" or "excuse me" but she didn't and just treated as nothing happened. I understand that old people have slight problem with 'winds' but this is so ill-mannered. Rich so what. A rich but ill-mannered person has nothing valuable at all. I'm prepared to be scolded by her when i'm learning the ropes from her. It would be a challenge and a miracle not to get scolded by an impatient teacher, haha!

Do you start to wonder/ponder about more things when your age increases? I am gonna be 21 soon.. I know 21 is still young but i feel old no matter how many people tell me that. Being 21 is an age closer to dealing with major decisions in life. I've start to wonder about my future, actually, marriage in particular.. I know many will start laughing, but its just some random thoughts i have. Sometimes i will wonder, will my future husband treats me well, when and how will we get to know each other, will we be able to live happily together, how will our lives together be, etc..... haha! Very fairytale and naive thinking, i know..Sometimes i wish i could just take a peek at my 'life-book', and see how it is going to turn out, LOL!
Well, i guess i am a dreamer. Dreaming every day and whenever i'm free.. haha..

To my dear dd, i hope you will have a clear mind and figure things out =)
Keep a positive mind set, and positive things will happen to u.. Rmb? u told me this before..

First week of December: Delightful, relieved, cheerful =D

Mixtures of happy-positive feelings within me. Firstly, i have graduated from staining and moved on to sorting slides =] FINALLY.. Sorting slides doesn't really need any skills at all. All u need is a pair of sharp eyes and a little bit of brains to solve problems. haha, but of course, who doesn't need brains to do things. Really enjoying myself at work now. Feels like a break for me. Seriously there is a significant drop of stress level. Now, i don't need to rush around the lab like a mad dog, at least not as much as before. Every morning I will just sit quietly in front of the computer, type the labels, pick up phone calls, and when the slides are ready, arrange them in numerical order, counter check with the tissue and then submit into respectives doctors' pigeon holes.. Inevitably, problems may arise at work but all can be solved. Simple!

This Saturday was group B's turn to work and I was doing staining again. Irene wanted me to permanently do staining on saturdays, so i was back to doing the usual. But it was abit weird, a small part of me actually felt happy about it. I guess i am used to it already.. haha! Once a while is fine, 3-4 months of staining is dreadful. Well, I hope to learn new skills in the near future =)

Secondly, attended JVS St John's campfire on 29th nov.. Didn't regret a single bit! It was a pity that yee left early and weiling & ivy cant make it.. It was fun fun fun! =] Sang those usual campfire songs and even danced to some, brought back precious school days memories. Thinking back how we made it through tough times together puts a smile in my heart =) There are much more juniors now and they are much more 'participative', cooperative and more supportive of their seniors too. Haha, and i didn't know i have a fun crazy senior (Wei Wen) until that day.. The campfire included night walk too.. We were supposed to walk around the school with torch lights and there were people situated at various places to scare us.. We (alumni) were the first to start the ball rolling. HAHA! Tanglin and a few of my seniors super scared la! Very funny! The girls were so scared that they grabbed and pulled one of my senior's shirt, Jun Ze.. It was so funny! Poor him.. In the end, weiwen was the one who scared the juniors and not the other round.. Guess what, tanglin, me and the rest of the alumni stayed back and joined in the fun to scare our juniors in the following rounds.. Yilin & i hid at the staircase.. So fun to see them got scared! hohoho~ It was a super fun night! =D

Next, BBFLs gathering!! =D It was so long ago til i cant remember when was the last time.. U lazy peoples, always wait for me to plan de, humpff .. Anyway, we had a great time catching up with one and another.. haiz, yee last min got things, cant make it.. We are going to have a christmas gathering! yay! 26th dec at ah fang's house =) Dinner and gift-exchange! =) don't worry yee, gonna call u tonight to fill u up k, u won't be forgotten =) Hope every one can make it! =) And again, we didn't take group photo! hurr, next time MUST remember to take hor!

Ohh, it feels great not working on saturday! And the following week is even better, 4 working days only! WOOO~~ I've realised the importance of public holidays & work-free weekends after entering the working society. Its the only time where i can spend some time doing the things i like. Recently has been rainy weather. Very good for sleeping! My bed is always cold, love hugging my pillow.. I hope it won't rain during lunch hour. I don't wanna run in the rain, though its quite fun at times. haha!

This week seems alright. May be its my turn to be taken care of by fairy godmother, LOL. Had alittle bit of prob during work but help always came just in time.. I wanna add, it can be a chore working with difficult AND irresponsible people.. But its alright, this trains me to be more alert and aware of my surrounding..So, thanks lots to those that helped me this week ya =)

2012 is a must-watch movie! Very interesting and exciting! I like it that this movie teaches humanity, to help one and another. Its nice to see the diversity of different races of people and different religions together. Afterall, we are all Earthlings =) Now, i'm just waiting for New moon to be out.. OH YA! The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) will be acting in a movie which will be out next year, Toothfairy.. WOOO!!! I'm so gonna catch it! xP He's soo charming.. hahahahaha!

Ohh, i love every song of Taylor Swift second album!! Bought it last week.. hehe.. i know i abit slow.. Its my type of song! Its country but not very country that type, u know.. hahaha! One of the reason she named her album fearless is to tell people not to be afraid to love again even though u are hurt by it before. She is very talented, wrote all the 16 songs, though some are collaborated with other singers. I like the lyrics of all her songs too. Some very fairy tale, and makes u wanna fall in love again =)

Hey there..

This week isn't really a good week at work.. Been having a little problem with my supervisor.. sucks man.. Just down with luck i guess.. Seriously i dislike people accusing me for things i din do. I didn't push blame =.= Trying to explain yourself is not equals to pushing blame.. And i'm not born to be scolded by u lor.. Sometimes old people/seniors really have some attitude problem. This is soo ridiculous.. Simon told me that when they didn't ask u to explain, don't bother to explain and just accept that its your fault. Whats wrong with their thinking?! siao ar? Didn't it cross their minds if now they are in our shoe and how will they feel. Or maybe they had been treated that way before, thats why they are doing the same on others now.. ha, pathetic. ~_~

Sometimes i just wish to be a tai tai.. Then, i don't need to go out work and have to look at peoples' faces, tolerate their mood swings. If i were to be a rich tai tai, i'm sure i won't be the same as some rich people. I won't give others attitude, be arrogant, look down on others and make people's life difficult. *sigh* Nevermind, its gonna be 2 years only..I need to be more alert, smart and less naive. And also be fake without them knowing it. Hopefully I'm able to learn all the skills and bring it with me when i leave the lab..

Sometimes i just wonder are all the working environment like this or i just haven't go to a good working environment with nice colleagues & superiors..

I miss studying so much.. At least life of a student is more carefree.. All you need to do is to study hard and earn your As.. At least the backstabbing & gossiping isn't that bad and theres no politics in class.. Oh ya, and its ok if you happen to be late for class! But if u are late for work..... HA! you will be the hot topic for lunch man!

Well, i guess i will get through all these nonsense and be a stronger person. Treat it as a form of training for me when i pursue my career in future. After experiencing all these shit, i hope i won't be like them in future.

On a lighter note, Christmas is coming! =D I've always love this particular festive season.. Christmas is always filled with love, giving & sharing.. Love the colourful lightings and christmas trees that decorated the streets and malls.. This year the lightings are much better than last year, blue theme =) I think i'm quite a conventional person.. Although i've seen many different colour christmas trees, i stil love the red and green ones.. haha..

Hi there =)

Having the mood to write today.. I've changed a new blogskin, like it lots.. Felt that the previous one was a bit kiddish.. I'm 20, no longer a kid anymore.. Lol.. Its been a while since the last time i updated this place. There are times when i really wanna write something but most of the time i'm too lazy to on my laptop. Haha!

A little update about my life recently. I have been working for around 4 months already. I've gotten used to the working life, the environment and also the people. I realised that colleagues is one of the major factor that determine the mood when working. Time reveals a person's true colour and i felt that my previous post was actually quite silly =.="" But, thank god not all of them are sucky. I've made some really nice friends at work =) *sigh* Work is gonna be different from tomorrow onwards. The poly girls have ended their attachment, gonna miss them lots. Now, its me, ah khoo & sasa le =/ haha, but not forgetting our sister simon too.. LOL!
I seriously wish that i will be out of staining next month man.. god bless me..

Oh ya, I went to vivo's Earl's swensen recently.. The place is great! The ambience was nice, u can see the sea, up-coming IR and the roller coaster track. In addition, the salad bar offers a great variety of crunchy veggies, salads, fruits and salad dressing.. I will recommend this place to those who just wanna enjoy a nice dinner, ambience, view and loves salad.

Went Bakerzin with raven, mei & feng yesterday, westies gathering. Jiahaur again ps us lor! humpf... Anyway the dessert there was great! We ordered some cream cheese ice cream dessert.. Once the waitress put the plate on our table, we attacked it already.. hahaha!! That moment i felt that our friendship has reached the stage where we don't need to feel ps in front of each other =) Raven said my hair grew longer le, so happy! Enjoyed myself with the 3 of them yesterday =)

Haiz sian, tomorrow is monday. Gotta work again. Sometimes just love and hate sundays, lol.. Alright, will write again next time..

Hello people! Long time no update..

Firstly, i started working! =D First day of work was fine =) Colleagues/seniors and supervisor quite friendly and welcoming. Just nice there was a fire drill practice that day and i was asked to break the glass thingy to set off the fire alarm.. hahaha!!! cool man! legally break it k.. lol! The uncle in-charged of the practice said that if i can break the glass, everyone in the lab sure can break it too.. zzz.. uncle, dun look down on thin people.. i am strong k =P Went for my first out of 3 Hep B vaccination yesterday with my new friend, Simon. Quite funny guy, able to chat with him.. hoho, next 2 jabs also can go together, gd gd, got company.. Today is my fourth day at work lo! Managed to finish reading my second lab manual, woo! 1 more to go, and its damn thick and boring =.="" Went breakfast with my supervisor and Simon this morning too, to use up our free breakfast voucher from Kopitiam.. I never eat snake k, supervisor say can wan.. hahaha!! Collected my Kopitiam card too!! Purple colour leh!! so nice! my favourite! Currently i'm job-training in the special stains section. Though quite easy and i should be able to pick up after a few more tries, but hopefully i dun make mistakes.. i don't wanna get scolded.. Everyone can hear de, so ps..

How to describe... FUN-COZY-ENJOYABLE-LOUD & NOISY-HEARTWARMING-SUCCESSFUL.. and the best thing is I STARTED FIRE!!! WOOOOOOO~ After observing my classmates start fire for 3 yrs, i finally get to try and start fire by myself! woo! starting fire is so fun, when u see ur charcoal started to burn and turn red, wah, the feeling is shiok! We didn't use the weird electric pit we booked bcoz it was faulty.. stupid lor, better refund the $. So Shah and i each started fire using 1 aluminum tray.. Combined effort of NCC and St john, woo! Seriously i think we were damn noisy, talked v loud BUT I DUN CARE.. hoho, happy can already.. Yee's brothers joined us too.. haha, so long nv see, stil so shy.. Oh ya, the chicken wings i marinated was great too, LOL! thank u thank u.. i know yilin cant stand me.. haha, dun like tt la, let me how lian abit =P i love it when our drinks were cold too.. All thanks to yilin's ice box and yee's hardwork.. Thanks you yee's aunt for the cold longan dessert.. Its just really nice to sit down together after bbq-ing, chat and enjoy dessert, ends the BBQ very well, simply love it.

~ Uncle's wedding ~

From today onwards, i will have a new aunt =) haha.. Woke up early in the morning and went to my uncle's place for tea ceremony.. so tired! Guess i made quite a memorable first impression.. I addressed her but she din really catch what i say den i gotta explain that i must call her 'ah kim', den everyone laughed =.= But its ok, i could tell that she felt quite happy to be accepted and welcomed in the family..

Lunch wedding at sheraton hotel was great! Ambience, food and wine were fabulous =) Door gift was so cute.. its a cup/saucer, with a pair of wedding dolls wearing traditional chinese wedding clothes printed on it.. I love her wedding gowns and photo album.. Looked so pretty and nice! They played Way back into love by hugh grant and drew berrymore when the newlywed enters the ballroom.. A very nice love song, but it means more than just a love song to me..... Anyway, this special occasion also served as a gathering with all my relatives and cousins.. enjoyed catching up with them and chatting with my closest cousins.. haha, guess what? my new aunt is actually kelvin su zhi chen's elder sister! hoho.. Super wanna ask him where is er bo today..hahaha! (u will get what i'm saying if u have watched that chinese drama, xin hua duo duo kai) Overall, i had a great time today =)

Coming up will be BBFL BBQ! woooo.. super looking forward to it! i know we are gonna have a great time tgt and that means great noise & laughter! hahaha.. i wanna start fire!! dun wan to cook.. WEILING can cook for me.. i know u LOVE to cook.. hahaha!! xD

Not feeling good recently.. Have been sick..
Ever tried taking MC on the first 3 days of work? Well, i have!
Had sore eye, sore throat and cough.. So irritating.. Like take forever to recover! Just when i thought i could finally report to work today, my stomach had to churn, store/collect wind and made me force myself to vomit.. Felt really terrible.. I sat and slept on the sofa instead.. But just when office hour about to begin, i felt normal again, like suddenly =_="

Hope i'll realli able to start work on mon.. Anyway, its just a temporary admin-data entry job at the science centre.. The job found me and not the other way round.. hehe.. Though its not science-related but well, better than nothing to do..

Another update ~

Recently very free and has been slacking my ass out at home.. I finally started working on that D.I.Y. cross stitch pouch i bought together with rosie 1 year ago (or may be more than 1 yr?) HAHAHA!!! God knows wheres rosie's one.. May be spoilt and she stopped using long long time ago.. xD

D.zihao called me yesterday!! Sooo happy to hear his voice =D He said that Shanghai is still very cold and has been raining because the cold season came later for this year.. It was so cold that the you can blow smoke out of your mouth.. So fun!! Reminds me of OITP times, when we were so excited and keep blowing smoke out of our mouths.. hahahaha! Wish-dong.. piping hot sweet potato.. "You yu".. Cooking meals together.. Stupid-act-of-the-day.. hurrr.. i miss those fun times =(

Received the graduation info letter and booklet today.. Finally i'm reali gonna graduate.. Felt excited about it! Woo, i'm gonna wear the graduation robe, go up on stage and receive my diploma cert.. Super pray hard i wun tripped and fall infront of everyone.. hahaha!! Hai, i really regretted not being more hardworking during school days.. When i read about "diploma with merit/prizes etc", deep down i really wished my diploma comes with a merit too.. but haha, aren't humans always like this, over already then come and regret.. I shall try hard not to be like this *trying*

My mini sunflower is blooming!! wooo~ ~ Green fingers! hahaha!!! ;P But my sunflower is quite weird.. Normally, 1 stalk onli have 1 sunflower.. Mine don't know why have 3 axillary flower buds, one from each node.. Grow 1 get 3 more.. hahahaha!!! super auntie!!! xD (i know if raven & ros read this, u both sure will say "wah lau, super auntie leh..zzzz" LOL!!) Well.. lets see how they bloom.. =)

Oki ppl, here is my class chalet photo =D

Back quite awhile from a short holiday, to Genting, with my dearest ZiHao =P hehe.. The whole trip was fun! Got to spend almost 3 days together =D First time holidaying overseas w/o parents, felt independent and cool! xD During the trip, we didn't went to the outdoor theme park coz it was RAINING! hurrr!! but we still had alot of fun playing the indoor arcade, shopping and eating.. D.zihao was so pro at playing 1 of the machine, 1 person can managed 9 buttons, love to watch him play =D It was also fun to keep eating, try different food, make full use of the good exchange rates.. hehehe.. Its been so long since i went to genting.. There were many changes and i'm still afraid of the haunted house ppl.. Their makeup is really v scary.. haha!! Felt so relaxed after a year of hectic life.. Love to go overseas with d.zihao =)

Had my both left wisdom tooth removed on tuesday.. Was very scared before the surgery that i even thought of backing off last minute.. so kuku rite.. but i didn't in the end =P Dr Ho and his nurses were very kind and caring, appreciated it.. So embarrassed that they need to help me crushed the painkiller pills because i don't know how to swallow.. hahahaha!!! BUT i've learnt to swallow my pills liao!! wooo~ The surgery for the bottom tooth was very fast! It onli took ~10 minutes and extraction of the top was only 3 seconds! D.zihao came to the clinic to fetch me home after the surgery, so sweet of him =) Quite funny, because the left side of my mouth was numbed by the medicine, so when i laugh, my laughter looked fake and D.zihao keep laughing abt it.. LOL! After the medicine wears off, i can feel the pain already.. But it was oki, still can tahan.. Today is the 4th day after the surgery le, no pain already but the left side of my mouth still swells abit.. hurr.. i think i look abit like bob dog that cartoon =_= Hope the swell goes off soon..

hello peeps.. hehe.. i'm finally writing something here.. so sorry, said i'm not a blogger already.. hee *bleh* Well, where to start.. so many things have happened.. haha.. summary la k =P

Class chalet

After last exam paper, i didn't reali felt over the moon but glad to celebrate end of poly with my class ppl.. enjoyed myself =) and then it was class chalet @ NSRCC.. wow, the place has refurished.. super super nice! but 1 negative thing is they removed the karaoke system because of some stupid reason.. thanks to junyu for helping me check in/out and also for the bailey (code name: bundung).. this time, the food was super nice too.. Arnold came to join us after his POP (i think) and brought changi village goreng pisang!! woo, shiok! its been so long since i played mahjong til i don't wanna stop playing.. hahahah!! Now, d.zihao know how to play le, didn't complain he was bored le, haha! We celebrated Feng's and raven's bday on the 2nd nite.. haha, this time no ros, feng din got tricked! (nenek, see la, we need ur great acting skills >.< ) Happy Birthday Raven! =)

When u are feeling sad, stressed etc. , a packet of it will add some sweetness to u, just like how it works on me =) I was curious of how a basin-like machine can turn solid sugar crystals into cotton form, so went to do some reading up and share with all of u.. so..... Read On! ;P

This well loved sweet stuff has been around since 1904.. Thanks to uncle William Morrison and uncle John C. Wharton.. hahaha! Actually the whole process is very simple..

The machine has a small bowl, into which the sugar crystals are poured into it. Heaters near the rim melt the sugar and it is spun out through tiny holes where it solidifies in the air and is caught in a large metal bowl. The operator then twirls a stick or a cone around the rim of the large bowl, gathering the candy into portions.

Happy New Year Everyone!

2008 has just ended and a brand new year is here again =) Pace of life is getting faster and faster each year.. Perhaps, the amount of workload increases proportionally to age.. haha!

2008 has been a wonderful year for me.. As usual, there were ups and downs throughout the year.. Loved the 'ups' period and of course hated those 'down' periods.. but well, i have indeed learnt alot from all these experiences.. Wanna thank those who gave me support when i'm down and those who brought laughter, joy and happiness to me =)

Some highlights of the year:

OITP in shanghai - This was the first time i was away from home, for 7 weeks, experiencing a new culture & cold weather, with 8 other fun-filled classmates of mine and a new friend, Husna =) oh, and with 2 teachers too..Had a great time with them all, exploring new places together, taking stupid videos and tonnes of photos, cooking dinner, groceries shoppin @ carrefour, helping each other and learning to be more independent too..Friendships were drawn closer too during the 7 weeks.. it was a very valuable experience and all the memories will be kept in my heart =)

Final Year Project - FYP has let me have an experience of what research work will be like. Very independent, troublesome yet fulfiling when u get results. It is very different from routine lab practicals. furthermore, i had so much fun tgt working together with d.zihao and justin.. because it is 3 person per group, so any 2 can gang up and take turn to shoot/irritate each other.. lol.. hope everything going fine for us =)

BBFL - It was so great to come up with the idea of meeting every last friday of the month.. Reali loved this idea.. i'm so glad that our friendship is still as strong as ever.. Most memorable gathering so far was the one we baked and had steamboat at ivy's house.. buddies for life! cheers!

My birthday - d.zihao granted my wish of a ferris wheel ride. somemore it is the biggest and newest ferris wheel in singapore.. =) Received a photo album from fruity friends and my classmates.. so sweet and nice! thanks so much!

Dinner & Dance - Never get dressed up so nicely before and finally tried contacts ;) And also, get to see some of my classmates dressed up so nicely and shuai too! Had so much fun that night! now i dare to show people my D&D photos, sec 4 graduation dinner photos shall be kept in the dark forever.. but something sad was that hofai left us and went back to Hong kong *sigh*

Nonetheless, A brand new year is here! New hopes, energy, wishes etc are here too! We should leave all unhappiness and negative stuffs in 2008 and create more happiness & gain more in 2009 =)

Here is my top 3 resolutions for 2009.. i'll try hard to acheive them.. hehe

1. buy an oven. (hahaha!)
2. excel in work and score gd grades
3. better control of anger and emotions >.<

Complain/whining/naggy-random post

Monday has not arrived yet and i'm already feeling the 'blueness' of it.. School gonna resume tommorrow.. holiday was soo short! ehh, are we gonna have greg poi's lesson for 2 hrs tml?! (no no, pls no =x) guess what, so far i've only done 1 assignments.. there are still lots lots stacking on my shoulders.. but i'm quite glad that there is quite a big progress in fyp report.. =)

Pressure, stress and all will sure be targeting me in the following 2-3 weeks.. i guess it will be the most stressful period in my life so far..

anyway, quick updates.. this christmas week was quite a fun week for me.. i've watched 3 movies! all with d.zihao =) Bolt movie was quite nice! the dog is sooo cute!! quite funny also.. Twlight was quite nice too! (i want to have vampire friends too, so cool.. hahaha xP) Bedtime stories was quite funny.. the hamster's eyes so big and cute, hahaha! Anyway, the highlight of this week was celebrating d.zihao's birthday! =D though plans didn't go well (haiz, so noob), but everything was still enjoyable in the end =P so glad he like his presents.. thanks yee for accompanying me to shop for it ;)

BBFL Gathering - Steamboat @Ivy's Place, 15/12/08

YAY, finally another BBFL gathering with those 5 crazy, noisy, loud, fun-filled etc. besties of mine! i must say had so much fun the whole time! Glad that yee initiated the meet-up.. thanks buddy! ( compliment 1st, later then come the suan-ings *evil laughter* xD )

Met up with everyone at ivy's house bus stop.. Yee was the last one to reach =P actually planned that the four of us (me,yilin,weiling,yee) take the same bus but someone so slow.. we 3 alrdy boarded the bus but our Da Jie still at home.. So all of us just meet at ivy's house bus stop instead..

After that was Groceries buying time!! Bought all the stuff we want to eat for steamboat as well as ingredients for baking cookies! Quite sian that we cant get the pre-ready cookie mix even though Yee, Weiling and i went all the way to Westmall to search for it.. We headed back to Ivy's house after getting all the stuff.. Some people never wait for us than eat lunch liao, hor.. so bad..

Baking cookies time! i enjoyed every step of it! Thanks lots to Shah's chef brother for the recipe.. hehe.. it was quite a cozy scene when all 6 of us crowd in ivy's small kitchen.. i love her stove decor.. so cottage-country style! haha, in the end our dear fang fang done most of the mixing-batter-part! Thanks to weiling whom brought so many different shapes and sizes of cookies cutter that we had so much fun making the shapes.. In the end, each of us make 1 ginger bread man shaped cookies for ourselves =)

~~ CLS Dinner & Dance, 9th Dec 2008 ~~

Updates updates =) Tuesday was CLS dinner and dance.. Venue was at Marriot Hotel, haha, quite high class.. Everyone was so pretty and handsome.. Wah, big change in hofai! So shuai that night! (even d.zihao agreed =P) overall, i guessed paying $68 was quite worth.. the host for the nite was quite funny, games played were quite fun and the food was not bad.. but the sharkfin was abit disappointing, not very nice though..

Wanna thank buddy dingdang lots for lending me her precious belongings.. Wanna thank her aunty too, for doing my hair and makeup.. it was so nice and i looked different from usual, thank u so much!! =D

Finally, 3 weeks break has arrived after a stressful hectic week of tests.. hopefully i'm able to be more discipline and complete most work,assignments & FYP stuff..

My precious birthday is nearing! =) eager to spend the day, celebrating with him =) i love christmas.. love christmas trees.. love the decorations.. i find that christmas season always let you feel relaxed & joyful.. Furthermore, receiving / giving presents adds to the festive season mood..

Finally MST is over!

What a hectic week.. Every day keep mugging and mugging.. So happy that it is over now! though many more assignments & FYP stuff on hand, i guess it is better than mugging non-stop every day..

Dinner & dance next tuesday! so fast.. Went shopping with Ros and mei yesterday after last paper.. hahaha.. so long never go shopping.. Din realised that i've tried so many dresses.. hahahA! sorry nenek and strawberry, made u both wait for me so long.. hehehe... Anyway, managed to find a dress i like =) next few days will be preparing anf gathering stuff for the occasion =P

Alright i don't have 10 weird things/ habits / things people don't know about me.. i'll name just a few that i can think of k.. hehehe =P

1. Picked up playing DOTA with class guys! hahaha! quite fun actually but i'm not as addict as 'some1' =P hehe..

What a week.......

Felt that workload is getting heavier and heavier.. Happy that this week i made an effort to finish up most of the data sheets so that i can spend time doing FYP report over the weekend.. Seriously, the data sheets like never ending.. U finished doing one and theres another one waiting for you to complete, argh...

I finally see some 'light' during ytd's bioinfo lesson, after trying out on how to use various softwares with the help of my classmates.. thanks so much! =) i guess i should be able to handle this week's assignment qns..

BBFLs Gathering 31.10.08

I had dinner with my 5 darlings at Red hill FC yesterday! So glad that all of us live up to our promise, it is a good start =D Turned out that some PPL was early & Yee and i was slightly late! Hehe, actually we are giving u all a chance to drink bubble tea first k.. hahaha!! =P

Dinner was great! Had many varieties of food! Fried rice, satays, stingray, oyster omettlet, chicken wings and of coz desserts too! Chatted quite alot and it was weiling's turn to be the target.. hahaha!!! Heng, not me liao.. lol! Yee & Ivy keep shooting her til she got nothing to say except " iiidiot.." Damn funny when they tried to lure her to say that word, LOL! While buying desserts, Yilin (i think) suggested to watch The Coffin after dinner and everyone except yee and fang agreed! Both of them dun watch ghostly films.. So happy! It has been sooo long since we catch a movie together! But then i realised that i told Rosie i gonna watch with her.. So sorry Ros! =X I'll catch some other movie with u k, i know u will understand.. hehehe..

After dinner we headed to JP (again) to walk ard. Went to Mos Burger to sit down and continue chatting, Laughed damn loud & took super many photos! Finally cam-owners brought their cam with them.. Weiling is taking Floristry module this sem and just nice every friday she has pract.. This means that every BBFLs gathering, we will have flowers!! =) This week was pink-white carnation.. Her art piece, graded B, was reali nice =) Work hard for 'A' girl!! Haha, my goodness, u should see how high she was while taking photos with the flowers & the stitch soft toy that yilin brought.. Time passed so fast, Yee and fang got to go home le = After they left, we went to buy tickets for The Coffin.. Wah, i need to complain! Watching late-nite movies at JP with a big bunch of freakin kiddos/ah beng wannabes is not a nice thing.. Firstly, some kid rest his feet in between ivy and my seat.. wah, how i wish i could do smth with his feet, be it flick or wat..(i'm nt violent, just frustrated) Second, while movie just started, some donkey purposely shouted to scare their friends.. Lame =.= Third, they laughed when scary scenes approaching and spoil the mood.. Worst still, the guy beside me laughed during sad scenes, wth?! Irritatingly-Lame =.= Ivy was right that they should watch some Kiddos Cartoons instead, since they are so childish & scaredy cat! Fourth, a few of the childish children started smoking after the show, before leaving the cinema.. This will be my first and last time watching late-nite movies at JP..

Overall, i reali enjoyed meeting up, having dinner & watching movies with BBFLs =D Looking forward to the end of this month alrdy.. hahaha!! Sometimes stuff we shoot each other can be can abit over, but at the end of the day, i'm sure all of us won't take it to heart, rite? =)

Chalet @ Aloha Changi

Yay, had a class chalet on friday (25.10.08).. Maybe our last chalet together? BUT i certainly hope not! Thanks lots to Bings that we got to have a short chalet.. Though the place is abit rundown (hehe), but we stil had lots of fun together!! ^v^

After school followed d.zihao home to change, then meet up with Arnold & Bings to bring us to the chalet.. Happy to see Arnold! soo long never see him le.. stil as tall and funni xD Went Changi Village to have dinner with all the rest.. Wahh, i cant forget the goreng pisang.. Super nice!! So sweet and crispy! After dinner, we headed back to chalet w/o seeing any 'ba pok'.. siann! lol!

Got to play Wii! It was so fun!! I love bowling the best.. u know why?? Coz i'm best at it! muahahaha!! qilu was trying to catch up with my score.. haha! anyway, good game k =)

Time flies and its time to go home.. i hope we all could have another chalet which every1 can come =)

what will be my next step in life? money is always the cause of headaches.. it makes me sad........ life is full of troubles, worries BUT also hopes and solutions.. it will get around 1 way or the another.. be positive =) hope things will be better in a whole..

The First week of school

Boring and tired.. How am i gonna study well when theres not even 1 subject that i like? =X Nvm, i shall try hard to look on the bright side.. Maybe as lessons proceed, i might find some interest here and there..

alright, first week of school.. great to be able to have most lectures with my class.. feels like the times before school management separated us.. somehow i feel that it might be a beautiful wrap-up for last sem, its like we start and end together (almost la, haha!) Not much highlights for this week except going rosie's house! Quite fun! Was caught in the super heavy rain with justin, hofai, jiahaur and aaron.. And some idiot pigeon flew and landed on the umbrella i was holding! Made me scared la! but we all laughed like crazy after that, LOL! Guessed what, they all really played angklongs at ros's place! And managed to play at least 2 nursery songs! very nice! Loved being their audience =D oh, and i tried many Raya treats too.. quite nice! Wah, suji is nice! why CNY treats like so limited one? haha! Will post some photos after getting from rosie =P

i think i need to learn how to better control my mood and feelings.. hope next week will be a better week =)

My BBFL gathering =)

Hey buddies! Sorry ar, delayed writing about our gathering.. Really enjoyed dinner with u all noisy peoples! ;P omg, the whole pizzahut & YaKun was filled with our voice lor.. hahaha!! Its a pity we gotta go home so early, i would like to sit down, relax and chat more with u guys.. Buddies, i wanna tell u all that i felt very touched when you all started giving me suggestions at the same time after i told u all my probs..(shh..dun say out, its personal..hehe) Really very touched noe to see u all even act out and tell me what to say.. Its difficult to find such friends in this world, where the number of 'fake' peoples are increasing..i'm not saying its not possible though.. However, Thank you so much buddies! =) Though we are always so loud, i still had fun with u all.. Hanging out with u all reminds me of secondary school days, how we started off to be buddies & times where we had so much fun together.. just listening to the 3 'powerful mouths' shooting each other is entertaining enough xD i hope that we are able to meet up every last friday of the month.. Try hard k!

Sian, school started today.. First lesson, greg poi, very boring!! =_="" i'm gonna struggle to stay awake for all his following lessons le =/ but 1 happy thing is that i'm able to see my classmates again, hear them making funny jokes during lessons, which sort of make them not so boring.. hahaha! So late le, gonna sleep alrdy! write again next time =P

Tired. Went School this morning for FYP, as usual.. Yes, i'm first today ;) The lab was not opened yet.. But its alright.. Mrs mark says most prob don't need to do facs anymore!! Wooooo~~~ Finally can start western blot.. hopefully it will not have long boring incubation time or else we will play uno til we will be scare of it.. hahaha!!

Met up with the fruity frenz(Ros, Sheen & Mei) to celebrate Sheen's bday.. Happy Belated Bday, dear! (ahem, its not what u all are thinking k..long story) We went Popeyes at SG flyer for lunch..The food was not bad.. One good point is that the chicken breast meat was juicy and not dry.. After lunch, its cam whore time from Yakult Rainforest & all the way back to Marina Square! hahaha!!.. Really had a great time today =D

Hello! Wanna say thank you to those that tagged.. Din know that so many people visited my blog, haha =D

Painted skin, the movie is quite nice! Watched it today with mom.. I love the storyline! Like general Wang too, faithful husband =) alright, shall not spoil the movie for those who have not watch it yet.. But overall it’s a good movie and worth watching..

Haha, guessed what? I watched House Bunny too! But not on the same day though.. I’ve told people not to watch that bimbo show but ended up watching it.. hahaha!! Went to watch together with Zihao coz he don’t want to watch Eagle Eye.. The show is full of boobs, butts, pretty girls, etc… (Someone had a great time, hor.. Haha!) Although the show is ‘bimbotic’, but it still has abit of friendship storyline..

Sigh* Holidays is ending soon! This is the last week already.. SIAN! =X Time really flies.. To add on, we found out on Monday that our dearest HeLa cells got contamination again.. Zzz.. All of us felt depressed, even wuss was quite quiet that morning.. haha! BUT mrs mark gave us hope again.. Things always seem better after seeing mrs mark =) ~~ Mrs Mark & her magical powers ~~

So slightly back to usual(crazy mood) after that.. We came up with many lame reasons such as ‘maybe the incubator got toxic vapour, or too long nv sing Heal-the-world song, or too long nv talk to the cells etc.’ Hahaha! And the best solution we’ve came up is …. to write OCS (mrs mark’s name) bigger on the culture plates! So that when the cells see mrs mark’s name, they will scare and grow properly.. LOL! Haiz, hope new batches of cells are ready for expt on Thursday.. Don’t wish to delay expt any longer..

Uncle nv wear shoe covers and walked into the clean room! =O everyone was surprised.. He was actually looking for Mr Foo.. But cant blame him, he doesn’t know the rules.. Before that, the uncle was looking into the clean room through the glass window, then Zihao damn bad.. He said to Daniel, “Eh Daniel, your father ar?!” SUPER funny!!! xD

Yay~ Tonight is tv night again! Gonna watch ch8 7pm show, calefare, first class, ch8 9pm show, the noose, CSI & Criminal mind.. Woo! Tml gonna go back school to subculture & also do someone a favour.. free labour.. hahaha!! Treat me ‘sugee/sugi’ k!! =P alright! Go eat dinner le =)

sigh* Year 3 life is really very busy.. Supposingly we should be having school holidays now but i've been goin back to school almost every day for FYP.. And school holidays are ending soon! Only ~ 2 weeks more =\ sometimes really felt quite sian and tiring.. Well, to console myself, at least i've got a crazy member that is quite entertaining and 'self-entertained', a leader that sometimes add on to the entertainment & eventually i joined in and we became the 'crazy group' of clean room..LOL! Apart from that, we got along well with our buddy FYP group and sometimes they are quite funny too.. "Sumayiru!" Thanks Rut for teaching us, hehe.. And also during incubation times can go around and chat/make fun our classmates in other labs.. hoho~~

Oh no, i have been very lazy to continue doin logbook from where i've stop & also hven done my lit review =\ sorry leader and team mate.. hehe.. tonight i will make an effort to continue the logbook first k.. Promised! hehe..

Nevermind, all of us shall continue to struggle for 1 more semester.. i'm predicting that the coming semester will be extremely busy with work,projects,reports and FYP *scare*

hee.. nothing to do so update my 'long time nv use' blog..hahaha! woo, so fast its the beginning of another year. Time passes so fast without anyone realising it. Will this year be a good year for me too? ha.. i'm not sure too.. for this year, my zodiac is 1 of the 4 that offend 'tai sui' <> so mom says this year will not be a good year for me, but she has been telling me that whenever its my turn to offend 'tai sui'.. hahaha! so i think just dun care la.. try to be positive and not think of it, maybe everything will be fine.. wahaha!

lets recap some things tt happened last year(2006)
In 2006, i got my 'O' level results, signed up for poly coz cant get into JC =( <> . veri happi that 2 of my BBFLs r in the same poly as me.. Veri happi & blessed to have a wonderful, fun & funni classmates cum frenz! woo! DBT 1B/1A22 ROCKZ man!! luv ya all! oh, have a veri cute class mentor in 1st sem, Dr cui & a veri funni chem teacher in sem 2, Mr Lam k.s.( weii..u all can keep quiet anot.. ) LOL!! Have mani 1st times too eg : 1st time my class celebrate my bday for me(woo! thanks!), play pool n mahjong wit them, stayed out whole night wit them, go chalets, share drink alcoholic drinks, go K-box(wit BBFLS), celebrate Valentines day n receive flowers!( erm thou not in 06 but its stil my 1st time.. haha.. its frm class rep, qilu.. so sweet of him to giv all of we girls! thanks!), etc....... hee.. can say 06 is quite a fun year to me..
but things are always two sided. theres happi moments and not so happi moments.. the period between end of 06 and early of 07 has not been very good for 1 of my BBFL. she has lost something close and dear to her. haiz, life is so cruel to her. this has sort of affected the rest of us too. this shows that the bond between us all is quite strong. we know that she wants to be alone, mayb will contact us when she is better. i'm worried abt her, dunno how shes doin now, guess the rest of us are feeling that too. saw her msn nick ' we say gdbye, but nv let go' , can feel the sorrow in her. haiz, hope that she will pull through her darkest moments. though i noe it will be v difficult but Be Strong, budd!

oki, back to new year! hmm.. new year= new hopes= new beginning.. eh, also means i will be 1 year older now.. noo!.. lol!! when go visiting, saw my younger cousins and other kids, really have the feeling that i am old liao.. lol! one of my cousins told me 'imagine if u born 10 yrs later, u will be joining them, running n playing ard..' hahaha, funni! but nvm, they will grow old too.. lol! currently now waiting for results & start of new sch term.. luckliy tml goin out, stay at home a little boring. yay, tml gonna going z.hao, q.lu & shir house visiting den go have dinner & maybe movie. wahaha! lucky got hong bao $, if not sure broke. argh.. i want a job! still no one called. chels goin work tml la.. so good! lol! this new year is sinful man, have been eating alot of new year goodies.. btw, dun look down on slim ppl, they do grow fat also k.. lol!
